Workers’ Compensation and Employer Liability

Workers’ Compensation Coverage protects employees as required by state laws. It provides medical care, death, disability, and rehabilitation benefits for workers who are injured or killed while on the job. Premiums are based on the employer’s payroll and the type of duties its employees perform.

Employer Liability Coverage, provided by Part 2 of the workers’ compensation policy, protects the insured (employer) from liability to employees for work-related bodily injury or disease, other than liability imposed on the insured by a workers’ compensation law.
